EU imports in 2011 were all wild-sourced and imported for commercial purposes, consisting of dried plants (143 kg) and chips (85 kg). All trade originated in Indonesia and was re-exported via Saudi Arabia. No wild-sourced imports were reported prior to 2011; small quantities of pre-Convention chips and oil were reported in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
