The EU imported 53 live, wild-sourced individuals for commercial purposes and one pre-Convention body (purpose code ‘Q’) in 2011. All wild-sourced trade was imported directly from Indonesia. No imports of this species were reported by the EU 2002-2008; in 2009, 30 were imported and imports of wild-sourced, live individuals more than doubled from 20 in 2010 to 53 in 2011. Indonesia published an export quota of 270 live individuals in 2011.
